David founded the Auto Body Professionals (ABP) Club in September 2004.
It is now the leading trade body for those involved in the UK accident repair market with over 2,500 members from all sides of the industry – bodyshops, insurers, car manufacturers, suppliers, salvage etc.
ABP Club runs BBA (British Bodyshop Awards), the biggest awards event in the world for the accident repair industry and produces the ABP Industry Yearbook, the industry "bible".
David has a long history in the automotive industry; in 1984 he was a regional director with Austin-Rover, before moving into the accident repair side in 1988 when he joined Audatex UK as deputy managing director.
After 10 years he left to become CEO of Miller Fisher motor claims division in 1998, leaving to form ABP Club in 2004.
